3 random things.
i loved watching heath ledger in the imaginarium of doctor parnassus.
yeah there were johnny depp and jude law and colin farrell, totally maximising the eye-candy factor of this movie,
but, sigh. heath still rules.
although the movie wasn't *fantastic* it definitely had a wonderful cast.
who knew lily cole could act?
...or maybe her purpose is to be the only reason why any straight man would watch this movie :/
when i went back to rj a while ago, no less than 6 people told me that i seem to have lost weight.
naturally, i denied.
then a few nights ago i decided to step on the weighing scale for the first time since... er the last time we took height and weight in rj
and holy crap! i could have sworn that this time last year, i was about 5kg heavier.
don't understand how the weight loss is possible when i've been bumming around for so long.
but hey, no complaints, it makes me less guilty about munching on bak gwa this festive season :D
today i was checking out the cosmetics aisle in Watsons when suddenly, this foreign lady asked me which Revlon powder foundation she should buy for herself.
in Mandarin, no less.
first reaction: shit, look around for a salesgirl asap. i am so not qualified for this.
-no (Mandarin-speaking) salesgirl in sight-
second reaction: crap, now i have to try and answer in a) cosmetic lingo and b) in Mandarin.

i hereby thank all the makeup gurus i've been stalking on youtube these few weeks
i never thought this sort of knowledge would come in handy...especially when i'm talking to a stranger!
in the end she decided to buy the Maybelline liquid foundation that i'm currently using.
(maybe she liked what she saw on my face! HAHAHA EGO BOOST.)

ok i'm off to watch more beauty-related stuff.
this must be a phase i'm going through.

I loved The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus! (Okay maybe because it was one of those kinda films which appealed to me...) Yes, but Heath Ledger was really awesome! (Plus Johnny Depp who is totally Depp-ish and total love.)

(I wish that people have been telling me that I've lost weight. LOL. Simply because I wish that I've actually lost weight.. T_T")

yayy! yes somehow i can see why it would appeal to you...haha i think even though the plot had a few holes, overall it was a fanciful and VERY PRETTY movie :D johnny depp was fantastic even in those few short minutes!

you totally don't need to lose weight manz, and besides teachers shouldn't be too skinny, if not how to command respect? LOL. how has it been being Miss Neo! :D

YES IT WAS GORGEOUS. love the colours in the imaginarium! :3 (and yes johnny depp was awesome! squee fangirl time)

hahaha alot of my students don't respect me though, cos they think i'm a temp teacher and easy to bully. >.< well, being miss neo means that i have been screaming at almost every single relief class i'm taking, but i just started teaching properly! quite fun la but it's scary! imagine forty pairs of eyes staring at you... >.<"

(i need to lose weight to fit into my clothes. >.<" sadly.)
